|  Victoria Cross - The Victoria Cross is awarded for most conspicuous bravery, or some daring or pre-eminent act of valour or self-sacrifice, or extreme devotion to duty in the presence of the enemy. A recommendation for the VC is normally issued by an officer. Military Cross - The MC is granted in recognition of "an act or acts of exemplary gallantry during active operations against the enemy. Conspicuous Gallantry Cross - Awarded "in recognition of an act or acts of conspicuous gallantry during active operations against the enemy". Distinguished Conduct Medal - Awarded to junior and senior NCOs for good Conduct. Distinguished Service Cross - Awarded to Officers (and Warrent Officers) for good Conduct.  Distinguished Flying Cross - Awarded to pilots who show exeptional skill in the airborn theatre.  Military Medal - Awarded for Bravery in battle.  George Cross - Awarded to non 359 members or retired members who have helped 359 in a big way.  Long Service Medal - Awarded for long service in the clan. | |
